Please pardon this OT message but I live in PA about 75 mi. from my beloved hood and would love to move closer (within 30-40 mi or so) but I just cannot afford the astronomical rents. Since there are so many knowledgeable New Yawers here I thought Id give it a shot and ask for ideas. I know I can get a rathole somewhere for $750. but Im not that desperate. Thinking outside the box: Im seriously considering getting an RV or houseboat. The problem is getting an affordable/legal (or semi-legal) parking space. Suggestions appreciated. Thanks.
