1PM NEWS UPDATE POWERED BY Orange Uganda: With Emmah Atai The Observer has reported of a letter bomb that was sent to the Speaker of parliament, Rebecca Kadaga, with intent to harm her life. It is said that the letter which was meant to be delivered to the Speaker was instead opened by “an attendant at Kadaga’s Parliament office, Herman Kaboggoza who suffered serious facial injuries”. Supporters of the outgoing Leader of the Opposition, Nandala Mafabi have threatened to leave the party if he asks them to go where he will take them. While Mafabi pledged to work with his successor,Wafula Ogutu to build FDC into a party that can rise to power in 2016, his supporters are protesting, claiming he has not been rewarded for his service.
