2-1/2 years ago, I made a radical change to my life: I got rid of nearly everything I owned and whittled my possessions down to what I could take with me on an airline flight. A few suitcases of clothing, my laptop, camera, a bicycle and a few other sundry items. It was a radical move, but easily the most liberating thing Ive ever done. You are more than the stuff youve accumulated, more than your car, more than your McMasion and all of the crap that youve squirreled away inside it. You cant take it with you, why hang onto it?
