2 Corinthians 5:17 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. I have spoken of many things that are old and many things that have become new by your new faith in Christ Jesus. You can go to the archives and read previous posts to see for yourself. But what is on my heart now is for you to separate yourself from your old friends that are distracting you by their carnal lives. Beloved of God, a little levens, levens the whole batch. By you hanging out with the wrong crowd as a christian, it will do you more harm then it will benefit them. Yes, we are to remain faithful, we are to share our testimony with the lost as God leads you. We are to share what God has done for us and how he has changed us, and where we are going because of our faith in Christ. We are to also share what the significance of the cross is and why Christ went to the cross to save the world from their sins. But God isnt asking you to spend time hanging out with them enjoying the pleasures of the world. We are to dissociate ourselves from the Old Gang so to speak, because OLD THINGS HAVE PASSED AWAY AND ALL THINGS HAVE BECOME NEW! Your new friends are your brothers and sisters in Christ!
