2 Peter3 V3-Most importantly, i want to remind you that in the last days scoffers will come,mocking the truth and following their own desire. V4-They will say, What happened to the promised that JESUS is coming again? From before the times of our ancestors, everything has remained the same since the world was first created. V8-But you must not forget this one thing dear friends; A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. It is difficult to wait on GOD, particularly when he seems so slow in bringing about our healing . Why doesnt GOD return for us now? Why does he allows further suffering and frustration? The answer is simple yet profoundly full of love; GOD is patient, He wants all to come to Him n discover the only true way of salvation n life. As we wait, we can trust GOD that it is always for a good purpose. We live in a world that encourages n rewards our active lifestyle. We are doers n fixers, arrangers n controllers. We seek to bolster our sense of self-esteem by the things we do. When CHRIST return, however, who we are will be far more important than what we do. Peter reminds us that as we wait for this day, we are called to be GODs people. It is good to take time to ask, am i enjoying the privilege of being? In all my doing, have i lost sight of what is important --the kind of person I am, n the person i am becoming. As we take GODs Words to heart, We come to understand more n more of the truth-- about GOD, about ourself n about our future in CHRIST. Good morning and the blessing of GOD shine on us today, in JESUS name. Amen!
