2 of my ferals were lived trapped today and taken to get either spayed or neuter. I dont know why I worry about them so much when I know ones are away. I do worry when I dont see one for awhile. Today when I went out by the cat shelter I was so happy for about 5/6 of them were in the the shelter. First one I saw was Macgyver which really surprised me (upper level), I saw Sly run away which I am sure he was in the bottom, I saw Spirit who I believe was in the top, Vicious I saw him jump out the top exit, and Groucho Marx and Patch came running out from behind the shelter. I dont know what level they were on. Those are the 2 that were trapped. We scare them and they scatter but at least now I know they know it is a warm place to go. And believe me that shelter is warm. I would love to get a temperature gauge and see what the temp actually is. I put my bare arm all the way in it and I felt warmth and it felt every bit as warm as my house. I put food on the ramp and a small bowl of food in the upper level last night. I think that got them up there and once up and in they thought wow what a warm place. I did the same again tonight and I put a small bowl of food in the bottom level tonight also. The warming bowl is awesome. The water is not freezing at all and the cats seemed to be accepting the water and food station quite well. When I check the water it does need refilling everyday so they are drinking it. I just hope they all make their way into the shelter tonight for the weather is so cold right now. The wind is blowing something terrible. I know there are a few of the males that do not accept Remeow and Church all that well. I just hope they dont keep them pushed out.
