2 or 3 years ago we were at HEB and bought a bag of Bing cherries. I planted a few of the seeds in a pot and a few weeks later they popped up. Here is a cluster of 4 that are doing remarkably well here in Harper. They wintered in the ground and came back nicely this Spring. I dont know enough about cherry trees to know if the will actually bear fruit or not. If they blossom at some point, Ill be tickled. If this is all they ever do, thats fine too. Approaching 5 ft tall and growing incredibly fast. If they do bear fruit Im sure the birds will enjoy them very much and maybe leave me one or two. They were here first after all. 😊
