2 years and 3 months, or 981 days since I last engaged in any bulimic behaviors. Im not one to post on Facebook about sensitive subjects like this or my own personal issues, and I know it hasnt been a whole 3 years yet, but struggling with this disease for four years of my life was painful. I deserve to be proud of myself everyday for fighting the urges and thoughts that tell me to be destructive towards my body. This is extremely hard to talk about, considering Im sharing with hundreds of you what my weaknesses are. But if someone looking at this status is suffering from the same problems I did, or any kind of issue they think they cant overcome, know that youre not alone and you have the strength to beat or fight it. Ill probably never post a status like this again. In fact, I much rather talk about the bigger problems in the world including how much I miss Cheeseburger in Paradises aloha burgers or how my cat Edna shows obvious signs of schizophrenia. But I suppose a heartfelt status is needed every once in a while.
