2 കൊരിന്ത്യർ 4 16. അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ അധൈര്യപ്പെടാതെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പുറമെയുള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു എങ്കിലും ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകമേയുള്ളവൻ നാൾക്കുനാൾ പുതുക്കം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു. 16. Wherefore we faint not; but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day. 17. നൊടിനേരത്തേക്കുള്ള ഞങ്ങളുടെ ലഘുവായ കഷ്ടം അത്യന്തം അനവധിയായി തേജസ്സിന്റെ നിത്യഘനം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു കിട്ടുവാൻ ഹേതുവാകുന്നു. 17. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, worketh for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory; 18. കാണുന്നതിനെ അല്ല, കാണാത്തതിനെ അത്രേ ഞങ്ങൾ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു; കാണുന്നതു താൽക്കാലികം, കാണാത്തതോ നിത്യം. 18. while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
