20. Blaming New Health Problems on Old Foods Doesn’t Make Sense Heart disease didn’t become a problem until about a hundred years ago. The obesity epidemic started around 1980 and the type 2 diabetes epidemic followed soon after. These are the biggest health problems in the world, and it seems pretty clear that diet has a lot to do with them. For some very strange reason, the health authorities started blaming them on foods like red meat, eggs and butter. But we’ve been eating these natural foods for thousands of years, while these health problems are relatively new. Doesn’t it make more sense to suspect all the new stuff instead? Such as all the processed foods, added sugar, refined grains and vegetable oils-In addition to addictive chemicals? Blaming new health problems on old foods simply doesn’t make sense. Having an obese 6 month old baby had become the new norm??? Really? What changed?..... Consider processed baby food. Check the ingredients. Baby formula is basically a chemical bath, both of them produced by Nestle/Gerber and the Graduates section doesnt get any better. FORTY SIX ingredients in one graduate label. How is this supposed to be good for babies again??? What happened to food? Conditioning starts at a very young age and we are unknowingly addicting our children to sugars and chemicals. Neither of which are needed in a body. Food is needed. Proper nutrition. Think of the amount of time you spend earning the money to buy the product, the time shopping, cooking, cleaning-You pay a lot for your food. Why should you have to pay with illness because you ate it? Try fresh veggies or fruits as snacks. Quick, portable and comes in their own carrying case which is biodegradable so it reduces your carbon footprint due to no packaging or soaps. Eating whole and clean foods if what babies need-not this crap.
