2013 Miss Supranational visits school Alma Mater ILAGAN CITY, Isabela, Sept 20 (PIA) -- Crowned 2013 Miss Supranational who is a bonafide resident of Calamagui North, Santa Maria, Isabela visited last Wednesday her Alma Mater in this province. Mutya Johanna Datul who was recently crowned in Belarus beating 83 beauties in other countries in the world, visited Isabela State University – Ilagan City campus where she finished her two-year basic ladderized course before joining the beauty pageants in Binibining Pilipinas and in international beauty competitions. Datul is accompanied by her parents SPOI Wilferdo and Merlie Datul including her siblings in her visit to ISU-Ilagan City and was warmly welcomed by provincial officials and ISU – Ilagan City faculty and staff and students. Datul advised fellow Isabelinos, especially the talented ones to pursue their dreams and aspirations and to be determined to realize it just like what she has done. She expressed gratitude to her parents, local officials and most especially to her Alma Mater ISU-Ilagan City for being part of her success in life. Before she visited her Alma Mater, Datul joined the provincial officials in a gift-giving to less fortunate families and senior citizens in the town of San Manuel, Isabela and during the inauguration of the covered court in the said town. Vice governor Antonio Albano who welcomed Datul together with local officials in Isabela said an Isabelina winning in an international pageant is really a great pride and honor for all Isabelenos. He said the province is lucky to have DAtul as crowned 2013 Miss Supranational as he said the pride is not only for the province of Isabela but for the Philippines and Asian nations as well.
