2014 - I know reflecting on the past year is a traditional thing that many do; however, I cant help but reflect on my years of life and how God has brought me through the many ups and downs. Just to give a small snippet of what I mean..... The moments when I thought of giving up, but the drive that God placed in me, would not let me. This challenge of giving up was especially present when I became a divorced single mother, a few months after the birth of my daughter, and my son was only 7.....I felt weak and defeated. Divorce was unfamiliar territory for me, and not fun at all. I wondered how in the world am I going to do this? To make an even longer story short......today, Im a thriving single mom just doing my thing 😊. My son is 20 and will be 21 in February. Hes working hard, paying grown man bills 😀, achieved getting his license and car on his own, will be starting school in the Fall. People think that Chris is my boyfriend, and that I look too young to be his mother....yesssss, Ive been blessed with good genes....LOL! My daughter is 13, a consistent honor roll student, goal oriented, organized, independent young lady. Both of my children love and serves God. I own my home, for 5 years now (which shouldve been impossible with my income at the time), drive a really nice car, work with an awesome team of leaders on my job, I have good health, loving family and friends, and most importantly.....a God that loves me unconditionally through my good times and bad times, and He hasnt given up on me.....and the list goes on. Im soooo grateful and blessed. 2015.....bring it on, Im ready!
