2014-022: Dolph Lundgrens new Dolph vs zombies flick wasnt at Redbox when I stocked up before Snowmapocalypse 14, so I grabbed this generic-sounding effort featuring Dolph, Billy Zane, Vinnie Jones and Robert Davi (doing the worlds *worst* British accent!). How bad could it be, right? Lets just say its one of those movies where; all the characters are introduced by freeze-frames featuring their names; passage of time could be two days or three years because everybody looks exactly the same, wears the same clothes, drives the same cars, etc; and, were supposed to believe the son of a major California crime boss is accepted into the FBI and then assigned to work a case involving his family. The whole things feels a bit like a failed pilot with Lundgren as the bodyguard-turned-operative for the Feds. Im hoping DOLPH VS. ZOMBIES is better.
