2014: Another year of success and continued brilliance for PakPassion.net .... Alhamdolillah, as another year comes to a close, we can all proudly look back at 2014 as another year of success for this volunteer-run site. Our mission has been, and will always be, to represent the voice of the ordinary Cricket fans. Whether we do this by facilitating some excellent discussions on cricket or by bringing you exclusive interviews with cricketers and officials - the fact is that PakPassion.net is truly one of the most well known and established online platforms for discussion on cricket for all nationalities. 2014 has been no different from the preceding years. The energy of our dedicated volunteers has not diminished in any way, nor has the enthusiasm of our esteemed members now nearing 64,000 or our 25k twitter followers or the fans who have bestowed 145k likes to our Facebook presence. PakPassion.net has continued to be the yardstick of excellence in terms of cricket related websites and for that we would like to thank our members, staff and other well wishers. The PCB also deserves a special mention here for their continued recognition and support of our efforts to promote Pakistan cricket in the best light possible with constructive criticism as necessary. So what did we achieve in 2014? For a volunteer run website which depends on the goodwill of its members and draws upon its reputation for fairness and accurate reporting, 2014 was an absolute cracker! Apart from timely updates via our Home Page/Twitter/Facebook/Google+, as those who joined us this year and for the veterans who have been our friends for many years would have read and enjoyed, listed below is a taste of the Exclusive Interviews we conducted in 2014 - each one was received warmly by our members and also appreciated by the many news media organizations that depend on our content. When mentioning content, we also offer our heartfelt appreciation to Aamir Sohail, Mohammad Zahid, Azhar Mahmood, Mohammad Wasim, Ian Pont and the crowd favourite - Pakistans former fielding coach Julien Fountain, for sharing their thoughts via their exclusive blogs which we have had the pleasure to host on our forum pages. Once again, many thanks to all who have helped us grow further this year. Our debt of gratitude will remain for all those staff members who have and continue to give up their precious personal time to make sure that this site remains true to its objectives. All that remains now is to wish everyone a happy, healthy and a prosperous 2015 and also to add a prayer for the safety and security of all our members as well as the people of our dear country, Pakistan.
