2014 Deals for Hewlett Packard OJPRO8100 Wireless Color Printer. Explore deal at mmdaily.net/dp/B006M1MFEA Took a little bit of setting up between assembly of a pieces, removal of a lot of packing tape/film and then configuring with the HP software. Just has everything I was looking for in a printer for cheap. I had my doubts that the $300 inkjet this was replacing would be any good. I liked having separate ink cartridges for each color so I only replace the one I use up. Comes with full-size ink cartridges so the spares I ordered wont need to go into service right away. Actually, the spare set of cartridges cost as much as the printer so it would almost make sense to just buy another printer for the ink cartridges. Weird. Duplexer is smart enough to let the page dry a bit before flipping it over and printing the other side. Registration front-to-back was off about an eighth of an inch so a shape printed on one side didnt perfectly line up with the same shape on the other side, but most people wont notice. Set up a static IP for the wifi and it has worked without a problem for a few weeks now. Im running four macs on an Apple Airport Extreme wifi. Throughput time is quite good both getting the print job to the printer and the mechanical printing process. Printer has a built-in web server where you can get stats and fiddle with the setup. Can email you when events happen such as low ink or paper. There is an ePrint feature where you can email documents to the printer from anywhere and it will print them, but I havent set that up yet. Added the optional 2nd paper tray to have different kinds of paper selectable from the print dialog. Had to download HPs Mac setup stuff to make it work as the baked-in OSX stuff couldnt make it work. Seems to wake up, print, and go to sleep pretty quickly. Just wanted a printer, no scanning or faxing, and so far this one is doing everything well.thought the print quality would be way better.kinda complicated to setup this printer.works horrible with iproducts but works really well with anything elsei dont really like iproducts i dont use em my wife does lolbut overall i like this printer its not badThis printer is very easy to set up, and prints flawlessly. It is an economical printer that functions at a high quality.I use photo paper when I want to print something that I will consult as well as the usual reason (printing out photos). I carefully followed the instructions on how to load the paper into the paper tray of this printer and tried photo paper from two different manufacturers, but I could not get the printer to print on photo paper, regardless of manufacturer, until I cleaned the rollers, even though I had only printed a few pages on it.And this is not a one-time thing. Every time I want to use photo paper, I have to clean the rollers. Most of the time I love HP printers, but this one is a lemon in my book.Purchased this printer for myself after struggling with an old printer that ran through ink like water and decided that it was time to upgrade. Read previous reviews and decided on this HP and absolutely love it. Love the wireless feature. Pictures come out beautiful and color printing is super fast! More info at mmdaily.net/dp/B006M1MFEA.
