2014 Report Sep 25: What a Great Day! First, Im Back! Second, ZERO DEATHS TODAY! And, we had 15 Dogs find a way under the wire and escaped today! Give it up for Animal Ark Rescue, Claws N Paws, Owner Returns and Adoptions! What a day!!!! Tomorrow, we have 25 Dogs and 37 Cats Available for Parole! Look out Columbus Purrs n Paws, we got the kittens for ya! We, also, have 20 Dogs and 06 Cats processed and waiting for the golden day when they find their lost humans, or a new human to love! This give us totals of 45 Dogs and 43 Cats for an overall total of 88 Inmates in our Prison for Homeless Pets! Mayor Teresa Tomlinson and the Columbus Consolidated Govt is pushing hard for the votes for the Revitalizing Columbus Communities to pass. Included in this plan is help for Homeless Humans. Councilor Mimi Woodson, we would love to see more funding and help for the Columbus Animal Care & Control Center to help save some of those Homeless Animals that we all love so much! We know Councilors like Skip Henderson loves and cares as much for the animals as we do! We are approaching the weekend. Tomorrow, Tri County Animal Rescue Center will be at Ft Benning and we hope that the Fort Benning Area Guide will let the folks know that they are always there every Fri and Sat! The Blanket Drive for the Local Rescues is coming up! So, watch for it. Dig out those Blankets, toys, food and Pet items you will want to share.
