2014 Science & Engineering Challenge A reminder that the SA segment of the Science & Engineering Challenge is approaching fast and we are, as usual, seeking the help of Rotarians and colleagues as Volunteers, to spend a day or two with us at the Adelaide events. The complete State schedule is: Flinders University Thursday & Friday, July 24 & 25 Adelaide Arena Monday July 28 to Friday, August 1 (note change of venue) Pt Pirie Tuesday August 5 Whyalla Thursday August 7 Mt Gambier Completed The State final will be held at Adelaide arena (home of the 36ers) on Monday, September22, and this year, for the first time, the National final will be held in Adelaide, at the Adelaide Arena, on Wednesday, October 29. We are planning a dinner on the Tuesday evening, probably at the Adelaide Oval, with TV Science Presenter, Rob Morrison (who has joined our Committee) as Speaker. President Peter has kindly given permission for the Dinner to be an official Club event, and we hope many Rotarians will join us on the night. So it’s an exciting year ahead for the Challenge here in SA and we thank all those who have given their services as Volunteers over the years and all those who have already registered for this year’s Challenge.
