2014 Season The Pirates will be entering teams into the 2014 FFV State Leagues for Juniors and Seniors. The leagues will commence in School Term 2 and players aspiring to play for Victoria in State Representative teams at the Nationals, can qualify for the Trials by playing in the State Leagues. The 2014 competition format, with host venues, has yet to be determined, but it is envisaged that changes will be implemented to further improve the development of the Federations Futsal leagues. The Pirates are seeking players for the following Age Groups: U10s, U12s, U14s, U16s, U19 (Youth), Womens and Mens and possibly U21s. This is based on the FFA and AFC Age Group guidelines. We will also be entering teams into the 2014 State Club Championships, based on our State League Teams. In 2015 we will be entering teams in the Craig Foster Futsal Challenge on the Gold Coast. Training commences for all Pirates teams on Saturday February 1 at Cheltenham Secondary College, Bernard Street, Cheltenham. Subscriptions for the 2014 have yet to be determined, however, Term 1 Training fees are $100 per player for the ten week duration of Term 1 ($10 per week). Pirates uniforms can be purchased for $50 per set. Extra socks ($10) and shorts ($20) are also available.
