2014 UIL Class 3A Region IV Baseball Finals TASO BLUNDER AGAIN...in the 7th Inning Hidalgo vs Sinton HSSM captures frame by frame moment by High School Sports Magazine photographer Alec Amador, of Sinton catcher dropping ball for force out and picks it up attempting to tag Hidalgo runner at home with bases loaded. TASO umpire (from San Antonio area chapter) calls it SAFE and then rules the runner Out in the bottom of the seventh inning with Sinton ahead 1-0. The game was tied by Hidalgo HS on the next at bats with two outs. You decide. Bad Call? The Sinton catcher tried pleading his tag after dropping the ball then picks it up and tries to beat the Hidalgo runner at home plate for the force out.
