2014: YOU GOT ME I remember the first or second year Mary Ann and I met she had moved to SC. She needed some time to get away from the negative effects of the environment around us. . That was like 98. We stayed in touch through the phone, email, and letters. I always remember that I sent her the lyrics of this song because every time I heard it I brought visions our relationship that we were building slowly but steady. I had given her my heart before she had left and told her I loved her (and I’ll never forget she told me ‘don’t tell me show me’). I wanted her to know that no matter what she got me. While looking at the video now, it reminds me once again of so many lessons we learned from the GOD of our understanding during our time together here in this world and the lessons of the Spirit that somehow prepared us for this chapter in our book of lives. From our first date to the movies to see Titanic, our favorite movie what dreams may come, to the text 5 days before, to the conversation we had the night before, and on and on even to the first lyrics to a song I remember sending her ‘You got me’. I know it seems sad, and trust me I miss her more than words could ever describe or anything can fill, but I know that there is more to this realm around us. The kingdom is truly all around us but men do not see it. It doesn’t mean bad, negative, or evil things aren’t going to happen. It’s the point of the truth that with the Spirit we can see through the clouds of death, sickness, and even the evil of this realm to keep it moving for the family way.
