2014 was a hard year. As I look back at so many good moments from the year- promotions, graduation, new relationships - I would be lying if I said 2014 wasnt one that has held many difficult times. Some of the most trying, unlike any I have experienced in my life. Times I hope never to revisit. But what I cling to tonight, is hope. I pray this for all of us. Hope for new beginnings. Hope to be able to see even when my eyes are closed. To be able to hear when I am not listening. To be able to trust when my instinct is to doubt. I pray for tears of joy rather than sadness. I pray for laughter rather than silence and wisdom rather than confusion. I cling to the hope that when tomorrow comes, revival comes with it.
