2015 Crab Feast – Kick off meeting Tuesday – September 23 at 7:00pm – High School Library Dear PA supporter and parent, Im taking the Crab Feast challenge one last time to support our remarkable programs and outstanding kids. However, I cant do it alone. It takes a village to put on a successful event. As you know, this is our biggest fundraiser of the year. We need to raise at least $32,000 to supply the funds committed to the programs on the current budget. Please join us Tuesday at the kick-off meeting and see if there is one thing (however big or small) you can help with. Thank you for your support! Debbi Santina Crabinator 2015 Crab Feast Attention all WGHS students, alums, parents, and staff! Mark your calendars! MEASURE H Meeting – October 14 (meeting location & time TBA) This meeting is to discuss how our Measure H money will be spent. There are 3 schools who want a theatre built - WGHS, Lincoln, and Pioneer. We have nothing but a cafeteria with a stage. We need your voice! Please come and support WGs efforts to lobby for a theatre for our school. Come talk about why a theatre would benefit our school and our community, and why we deserve it! Our programs cannot continue to grow without space to put them into. HS Drama News: Rehearsals for the fall production of The Good Doctor are underway, and its going to be a great show. We are looking for donations for props and costumes for the show: Victorian era costumes for men and women Wooden canes/walking sticks Wooden bench Leather bookkeeping ledger Wooden writing desk Old Fashioned arm chair (wooden frame) 2-3 fake topiary trees Also, we want to build a closet storage system in the closet in room Q201 (Ms. Peñas room). We will need some able-bodied and handy people to help design and construct the system. Any help would be appreciated!
