2015 Milo McMahon update: 2014 was an incredible year at Milo McMahon Industries. In 2014 I released my debut album, Big City Hustle, with thanks in large part to a successful crowd-funding campaign that was financed by you guys. I cant thank you enough for your support. In October, I released a follow-up EP entitled Gone Too Long which was a big step forward for me from both a songwriting and producing perspective. In Nov/Dec, Mike and I set out on tour across Ontario multiple times, playing 23 shows and meeting so many enthusiastic music fans from Montreal to Peterborough to Guelph to Sudbury and back. Meeting all of you guys and hearing your positive feedback on our show has been inspiring and invigorating, and we cant wait to come back and play for you all real soon. Over the next couple of months, Mike and I will be doing some pre-production on an album that we hope to bring to you in the fall. Im looking forward to bringing in a few special guests on the record. Keep an ear out for new tunes on our upcoming tours... speaking of which... In March we will be touring Ontario again. Dates will be released soon, with the tour culminating in a big homecoming show with our friends Harvest Soon at Casa Del Popolo in Montreal. Be there! Gonna be fun. That whole tour is going to be really, really swell. In April I plan to do some solo acoustic shows in Europe. Were in the process of booking that at the moment, so keep stay posted here and at milomcmahon for dates and details on that. May 1-10 will see us heading down to Toronto to play the mammoth Canadian Music Week festival. Ive been to the festival several times as a fan, and am really thrilled to have the opportunity to take part in the festival as a performer this time around. We will, we will, rock you. July will see us tour Western Canada, with dates in BC and Alberta being booked as we speak. It will also see me FINALLY playing my first proper electric show in my hometown of Winnipeg. What took me so long? Why you so far away? Really, really looking forward to playing that show and catching up with old friends in my fave city. Go Jets. August will see us heading out East, including a jaunt in the Maritimes. Weve been told our music will do well out there with the Eastern folk, and we cant wait to confirm that. What the rest of the year will have in stock is anyones guess... but for now were just thrilled to get the chance to head out and play more shows and record more music.
