2015 Presidential Election on my mind. The entire Social Media Network have been pretty agog in the recent times with news of heavyweight and featherweight individuals declaring to preside over the Nigeria dynasty and oil money. I have no apology for my choice of words because at the core of intentions of many of them lies in the greed to further their own course by enriching themselves but pauperized the teeming population whom they seek vote from. Okay! Among all those who have signified their interests to contest for Aso Rock office are three hefty men of the house of the Lugardian amalgamation; the GEJ of PDP, the GMB of APC and as well as the AA also of the Broom party. I dare say the next president will likely come from these three gladiators. I am not discussing their personalities in this post but particularly one of them has caught my attention by giving us his manifesto and even called us to criticise or correct his road map to recovery and that person is Atiku Abubakar of APC. I have said to many people before that if I am voting in 2015 at all, I am maintaining my independence of mind,my judgement will not be based on party affiliation nor emotional entanglement, Ive done these in the past and the ramifications were/are not awesome. I have been enjoying the manifesto of Atiku(the only person amongst them to have done so) until I was reading from Ademola HAdiguns recent post where one cerebral Jesse Adeniji washed AA and his manifesto clean. You may decide to side with anyone you like among the aspirants because theres freedom to do so, but on my own, I am picking up everything that needs to be read among the candidates so that I can make an informed decision. Hear what Jesse Adeniji has to say about the Turaki of Adamawa; we havent forgotten his exploits at the Nigeria Customs. That was the basis his wealth....that is the exact thing we do not want to see again...Public office isnt a miracle center for making billionaires out of the holloi polloi. Because he has that antecedent, his hands will not be tied and corruption festers. Atiku only has the cash to recruit a few communication experts. I have seen what they put out. Its mostly personal stories. ..They arent even serious stuff about the economic mechanics..end of the quote in part.
