2015 Striped Bass Proposed Regulations by the ASMFC will be 1 fish at 28 inches, which was the Option 1. this is the one I supported. Here is what it boils down too. 25% reduction for coast recs and commercial. (Commercial taken from Amendment 6 quota) 20.5% reduction for bay states recs and commercials taken from 2012 harvest All reductions taken in one year time frame. Avoiding the 3 year option is a huge victory as well as equal reductions for all sectors. This came from Coastal Conservation Association - Maryland Facebook page. I heard our rep voted no for this. What this does it leaves the door open for him to play with the limit. This is not good and could end up being very messed up. I see a big fight coming. Stay tuned for what happens.
