2015 TOI members open their account this week at various tournaments within India and across. Sagar Kashyap, Saikat Roy & Lalit Singh have started down under at the ATP Challenger Adelaide. Lalit Singh is making his return to Australia not only with this challenger but also will be seen at the 2015 Australian Open later. We congratulate Lalit for making a comeback at the 1st Grand Slam of the year after a long break. Shreeram Gokhale is doing 2 weeks at Auckland, New Zealand at the ATP as well as WTA events there. Abhishek Mukherjee, Saibal Banerjee are assigned to the only ATP Tour event of our country, the Aircel Chennai Open. Along with them a host of other TOI members will be seen on lines in Chennai, such as Supreeth Kadavigere, Paulraj Saravanan, Atanu Chakraborty, Surajit Bandopadhyay, Parikshit Sharma, Lavleen Raizada, Ashay Shekatkar, Kaushik Das, Birendra Giri, Gajapathy, Sunny Vishwa, K.R.Ramesh, Santhosh Venkatram, Somnath Manna and the usual Chennai Team of line umpires including Ganesan, Ganesh Ram, Sridhar, Ramesh Babu, Martin Adhimoolan, Syed Akram and many more with Revathy Sudhakar as the Chief of Officials. We have two exchange candidates from Turkey: Toygar Algoz as the additional chair umpire and Filiz Unal as a line umpire. We welcome the Turkish exchange members to India and hope that they will have good memories of the event, city & the country. Vaishali Shekatkar is at the Chandigarh ITF Juniors, which is the 1st ITF event in the country for 2015. This is her 1st time as a Referee for an ITF Junior event and we wish her all the luck for a successful event. Dhanashree Giri will be taking care of the AITA National Series event being held in Delhi. TOI wishes all its members and well wishers a very Happy & Healthy 2015. Jai Ho!
