22% Raises and Paid Medical while performance is bad, tons of people guilty of retiring on false medical and decades of mismanagement??!! And more importantly, in my business the CUSTOMER/CLIENT comes first;.. in this case the Riders are the Customers, all the hard workers commuting to NYC (while most dont get any 22% raises or medical) and the UNION seems to have no qualms about SCREWING THEM! Let me say; 3 of my best friends work at the LIRR and are great guys and hard workers, they have my super respect...but that UNION LEADER comes off as GREEDY and UNCOMPROMISING. We are just getting over a recession. I say BEND! (Just my opinion; what do I know..LOL)
