Good morning people who are grateful for God’s Spirit in us Here’s the delightful verse we looked at yesterday: Job 33:4 (NIV) The Spirit of God has made me; the breath of the Almighty gives me life. It is such a beautiful thought! Then I read these verses: Job 34:13-15 (NIV) Who appointed Him over the earth? Who put Him in charge of the whole world? If it were His intention and He withdrew His spirit and breath, all humanity would perish together and mankind would return to the dust. We are not just sustained by the natural elements and conditions on earth and the atmosphere which God created, but by God Himself. If God departed, we would die. Just think about this today. I love the phrase ‘if it were His intention’. This is talking about removing His Spirit and breath from the human race. But it’s not His will; He has no intention of removing Himself from our lives and our very existence! This is extremely good news! Thank You God for creating us and sustaining us!
