23rd July 2014 marks a decade of me moving out from the watching eyes and the caring environs of my parents. 10 yrs back this was the day when I started my journey at SRM. Have had the luxury of travelling places, getting to interact with a lot of people, who have touched my life in different ways. Have been lucky to have friends who have stood by at the hour of need and also have partied hard during celebrations. During the course of this journey, have had the privilege to have settled in Mumbai, Gurgaon and then coming back to Chennai. Each of these stints have been an enriching experience and without the bunch of friends that I have made at these places, this journey would not have been so memorable and easy going. At the same time, when I look back, I have missed celebrating my birthday with parents and family for the last 10 yrs, missed celebrating festivals, missed New Year bash and a lot of other important occasions where I would have loved to be around them. 10 yrs now look a long long time Its been a decade of fun, frolic and real good moments that I have spent outside home, spending some of the memorable days of my life.. Graduation in Chennai, professional stint in Mumbai and post graduation in Gurgaon.. Each had their own essence and spice.. But then there is that place where I would want to be back at... Home is where the heart is !!!
