24-HOUR PUBLIC WEATHER FORECAST Issued at: 5:00PM 11 July 2013 SYNOPSIS: At 4:00 pm today, the eye of Typhoon “#HuaningPH” was located based on available data at 690 km East Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (22.5°N, 129.2°E) with maximum sustained winds of 185 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 220 kph. It is forecast to move West Northwest at 20 kph. FORECAST: Batanes Group of Islands will experience rains with gusty winds. western Visayas, Zamboanga peninsula and northern Mindanao will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms. Moderate to strong winds blowing from the west to southwest will prevail over Northern and Eastern Luzon and Eastern Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the west to southwest with slight to moderate seas.
