#2497 Theres honestly nothing I love more than meeting new people. Thats why I love frosh week. Its the one time of year when its not deemed socially appropriate to strike up conversations with complete strangers and be obnoxiously friendly. You dont have to be at a pub or party and blitzed out of your kind to go about socializing with complete strangers and introducing yourself because theres first years that are trying to make new friends and meet different people. But then everything changes and everyone seems to become introverted or finds a group of friends and all of a sudden everyone is kind of giving each other the cold shoulder. I wish I was in first year still as an excuse to come up to any of you guys and introduce myself and just get to know my peers better and will reciprocate your enthusiasm at meeting someone new. That being said, I have the slightest suspicion that if I walked around campus throughout the entire year introducing myself to you fine people youd all think Im socially inept and obnoxious.
