[#2612] My parents are part of the top 1% Canadians, in terms of wealth. However, they started from the bottom (well, maybe, from the middle, not the bottom), and now they here, and they fully deserve the luxuries. However, I know the value of money as we were never rich while I was growing up, and it kind of makes me uncomfortable, when someone randomly asks me how many suits ties, dress shirts, etc. I have, and I say 5 or whatever, not realizing that that is actually much higher than the average number of dress shirts, suits, etc. owned by people. I get a free ride through university, can afford a decent apartment, etc. but I am not even an ounce independent. I would like to commend each of you out there who has made it to this university, and this far in life, overcoming various obstacles, and even supporting yourselves whenever required. Kudos to you guys!
