29 years ago today I lost the most amazing friend, my biggest supporter, my most influential mentor and the woman who made it impossible for all other women to compare to, my bubby. She was the first person I called whenever I accomplished anything, and when I struggled with a decision. She always made everything better. I dont know how she did it but she always knew the right thing to say. She could turn a towel into Supermans cape and make out of the box brownies taste gourmet. She made watching Days of Our Lives with her more fun than going to Disney World. She was beautiful and sweet and funny and loving. I miss her as much today as I did back then. She was a one-of-a-kind!
