Tell him to join us in sitting room now for Morning Prayers” That was my Dad, Telling my younger brother to wake me up by 8am. “Yemi, Daddy said you should join us in the sitting room for Morning Prayers” Victor informed me with fear on his face. “Are you mad? Don’t you have respect? Can’t you call me Brother Yemi?” I warned him. “Just get out of my sight, informed Dad that i will joined him in the sitting room after i washed my mouth.” “He said you should come right away” Victor said stil with face on his face. “You must be mad.” I said to him as i stood up and aheaded straight to the toilet. I went back to my room after i washed my mouth sat down on the bed i shared with my younger brother Odun, thinking about the dream i just had. I dreamt that i slept with a girl i met on the popular chat application “2go”. She was beautiful. Infact, Beautiful is an understatement. She looked like the late Princess of England. Her breast were big like that of Mama Chinedu. Mama Chinedu is not Mother of NollyWood actor Paw-Paw. She was a woman that shared the same compound with us. Her “Ikebe” was so mighty like “Olumu Rock.” “Ikebe” is not the name of anybody on nairaland. Its the Benin name for Bottom. As in, yansh or bakassi in pidgin English. “Yemi, didn’t Victor informed you to join us in the sitting Room” My Father’s voice brought me back to reality. “Run to the sitting Room before i opened my eyes. Its you trun to lead us in prayer.” He was ontop of his voice that i almost forgot that today was Monday. Talking about prayers/praying i hate it with a passion. Infact i hated Mondays. “Gloria sing for us” I said to my younger Sister. “Were you deaf when i said you’re to lead us in Prayers?” its means you’re to sing for us also. My dad fired back at me stil ontop of his voice. “Today o, i will lift up my voice in praise. All i no you are always there for me.” “Shut up your mouth.” “Always there for ‘us’ not me” He corrected.
