Hotels: There are a TON of hotels downtown within walking distance to everything. I personally send people to the Hampton Inn on 4th (free breakfast - free wifi) but there are some higher end options like the new Omni, so shop around! Streets are numbered, and the higher the numbers, the farther you are from lower Broadway. 1st - 10th is all walking distance. Food: Loveless Cafe is a drive but worth it. Jacks BBQ. If you have kids, the Wildhorse is a fun place for lunch. Get your picture taken with the horses! Midtown has some great restaurants, Tavern is a favorite for star watching. Most important thing to do: Come see us! (See previous post for more info) Other things to do: The Visitors Center downstairs has everything youd possibly want to know, but a few of our favorites include the (newly expanded) Country Music Hall of Fame, the Johnny Cash museum, The Frist Museum (great hands on kids stuff there too) and if you have a car -- Arrington Vineyards. (Great stop for a girls weekend when the weather is nice!) Buzz will tell you Downtown Franklin for shopping and dining. And if you are looking for less touristy bars away from Lower Broadway, check out Tin Roof, Winners, or Losers. Also, if you like Bluegrass Music, check out Station Inn. You just never know WHO might be there (on stage or in the audience) What did I miss?
