2nd shift-Dispatcher, Office work, Supervisor, Parts& Inventory Posted: 2014-08-31 7:26pm Email: [email protected] Location: Lockport / Romeoville 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) -Dispatcher, Office work, Supervisor, Parts& Inventory Well established 24/7 Truck Repair Company needs a 2nd shift supervisor and dispatcher. The position is a jack of many trades type of position. We need office Help, someone to work with the Office Manager doing general office stuff (filing, phone calls, reception, data entry, Ect.) as well as doing inventory & Parts distribution and other general labor. MUST not be afraid to get your hands dirty! Some of the things I will have you doing are: - Answering phones - Dispatching - Paperwork organization - Occasional typing. - Parts running - Great organization skills and help us get the shop & office in order. -This job will require some getting your hands dirty type of work. We can discus this in more detail during your interview. Dont worry, you wont be fixing trucks or changing tires, but it MAY include, from time to time (but not on a regular basis), moving/handling dirty parts, washing trucks, using a pressure washer, detailing trucks, ect I know thats a lot of jobs, but trust me- its not that bad. Most of the work is things along these lines. I need someone that: - I want someone that is EXECELENT on the phones and very pleasant (on the phone and off) - I would like someone that knows how to use MS, word, access and excel. - Very detail oriented and well organized - Can read and follow directions - Can handle themselves on the phone with customers. - Smart on their feet. - Creative - I also want someone that is strong and is not afraid to put their foot down. I want someone that wont take any guff from my mechanics. - There is 1 friendly dog. I need someone who is animal friendly. I will require: - A back ground check - A drivers license & a vehicle (there is no public transportation close to the shop) - Signing a non-disclosure & Non-Compete form. - Speak, read and write English. I am very flexible on a lot of things. - Pay- in the ball park of $9-12.50, but we will discuss this, it will be more than fair and it will be based on market value, experience, willingness to work, diligence, organization habits, ECT. (Hint: this is where a very detailed response works heavily in your favor) (on that topic: I am not looking for a bookkeeper and I am not looking to pay an office managers salary, so if your looking for over $15 per hour, this job is not for you) - No dress code.
