[3:09am, 1/25/2015] Godwin Esau: HOW BIG IS YOUR VISION? (1) Saturday, 24 January 2015 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. 1Corinthians 2:9 (KJV) Two days ago we read about how Jacob was overly concerned about finding something to eat. Jacob said,Give me food to eat and clothes to wear. When I read that very verse,a thought hit me like a thunderbolt. I discovered that for the next twenty years God never spoke to Jacob. He said, in essence, When you grow up, then I will speak to you. God had told Jacob that hewould spread to the north, south, east, and west and that his seed would be as the dust of the earth. God said, I will be with you;Shut the mouth of the enemy, silence the voice of the wicked, and ensure that whatsoever I have spoken concerning you will come to pass. But Jacob was worried about looking for food to eat and clothes to wear. God said you should not think about such things because your life is worth more than the food and your body more than clothing. He said,Look at the lilies of the field and the birds of the air. They dont toil nor spin but I clothe and take care of them. Have you ever stopped to ponder why what were going to eat, drink, or wear is a primary concern for so many believers today? Many are breaking spiritual principles simply because of this matter. Some are killing themselves over a place to live but your heavenly Father says,I know you have need of them. Some people reason that being able to build a house would be a sign that they have made it. I say owning a house does not mean you have achieved anything. Beloved, there is so much that God has left for you that should make you break out of survival mode. You must begin to move into the supernatural and abundance that God has provided for you. Genesis 12:2 says, [. . .] I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing (KJV). So you must look beyond your needs in order to meet the needs of others. Some of us may argue that that promise was made to Abraham but Galatians 3:14 says,That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (KJV). So you see, it is Gods plan and intent to make you a blessing. Today, I declare that every plan and promise of God for your life shall materialize. The survival mentality is now destroyed. You will be great and not be small in Jesuss name. (2) Sunday, 25 January 2015 And the Lord said unto Abram, [. . .] Lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: For all the land which thou seest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed forever. Genesis 13:14-15 (KJV) How big is your vision? Do you think that God loves the people He has blessed more than you? If you are thinking this way then something must be wrong because God loves us all equally. Acts 10:34 says, [. . .]of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh in righteousness, is accepted with him (KJV). When was the last time you sat down and said to yourself, This thing must be sorted out. I cannot die unsung. I cannot be a proverb to my generation. Something definite has to happen in my life. I must be an example, showing that God still blesses those who put their trust in Him. How passionate are you in this job or the little business that you are currently doing? Have you signed over $100,000 of your own before without any pressure? I am here to tell you that people are handing over such money and you can do the same. I know someone who gave $1million away; he moved around like nothing big had happened. Why have you reduced yourself to the ordinary? The truth is that God endorses whatever you will allow. He may not like it but He supports it because He respects your choice. God says in Matthew 18:18, Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth will be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye loose on earth will be loosed in heaven (KJV). If you say that you want to remain mediocre or want to remain in the dust, He will endorse the path you chose. Child of God, how big is your vision? How far do you want to go and how much do you really long for? In our text today, God said to Abraham,All the land that you see I give to you and your descendants forever. Therefore, what you see is what you get. I pray for you today that all that God has made available to you will come to you, that your vision will not be limited, and that you will be great and not be small in Jesuss name.
