3/11 Taiwan’s Massive, Mega-Powerful Radar System Is Finally - TopicsExpress

3/11 Taiwan’s Massive, Mega-Powerful Radar System Is Finally Operational in 2013. It looks like a two-phase arrays. The US DOD decision to postpone the sale of four Arleigh Burke class destroyers outfitted with Aegis, and to offer Taiwan the PAVE PAWS system instead is Very Peculiar!! The problem with the PAVE PAWS system is thus that they are stationary, are based on outdated technology, and were designed for long-range detection, and not the short-range missiles that Taiwan is faced with. In addition, the system is not designed to be connected to a battle command system, and would thus be of little help in defending Taiwan against the incoming missiles from China. Of course, it offers US the opportunity NOT just doing surveillance into deep China, but Taiwanese TOO !! These radars operate between 420-450 MHz, in the UHF radar band, which is the right microwave frequency to carry messages and pictures at the ELF frequency at Human brain frequency. And we all know the Bioeffect and casualty already!! wired/dangerroom/2013/03/taiwan-radar/
