3/4 days back I recieved a frd request from a beautiful lady. What attracted me the most is the worked at status. She wrote worked at happy housewife/ mom. I liked it instantly. She was true honest and contented and happy. No pretentions..... Nowadays the homemaker status is rapidly vanishing. But I feel being a homemaker is as interesting,intriguing and fulfilling as working women status. Its a matter of choice and priorities .If the husband is out of the house for long hours and there are no grandparents to support. The greatest responsibilty of inculcating values in the children solely is of a woman. Sudha Murti gave up her bright career as a technical person. Just to support Narayan Murthis venture. But she pursued all her hobbies. Her writing skills grt. Really she is wow (woman of wisdom frds). She knew her priorities and was true at fullfilling them. And never neglected herself. Madhuri dixit never gave up her responsibilties as a wife ,mother. She was with her children when they needed her the most. After 10 years she was back with a bang in the industry working on all fronts. Simply grt!!!! Being a homemaker also has its own challenges . The roles changes as the children grow up. When in school mother opens a courier service taking children from one class to other. And pursuing the hobbies and sports too. Then children become independent and a vacumm is created. So just do whatever u like to do. Be fit, be techsavvy,work if u want,learn new skills. The world is full of opportunities grab them........
