3 of the 8 counties (Yuba, Sutter, Glenn) in CAs 3rd Congressional District have voted to participate in the State of Jefferson movement and 2 more (Colusa & Lake) have active committees. On September 28th, I emailed our current congressman Congressman John Garamendi and his opponent Dan Logue for Congress and requested to know their position on the State of Jefferson. Two weeks later, after not receiving a response, I sent a FAX and a snail mail letter to the offices of both. Its been another two weeks and still no response from either one. With election day next week, its very unfortunate that neither candidate considers this issue worthy of a response. I guess Ill be leaving that spot on the ballet blank.
