3 years ago about this time exactly I started establishing roots as a Vegas resident. After an arduous cross country trek in my Ridgeline that saw Jay an I through 30 plus hours of laughter, tears, fear and a mild panic attack induced courtesy of an empty fuel tank in the middle of a dark Utah desert, God bless my best friend, for Jay remained calm when I feared the worst! It was the start of something new and now 156 weeks later, I still miss home, the family and friends I left behind but Im grateful for the select few thatve been placed along my path since. This wilderness experience is still teaching me things about myself, fingers crossed that as I start my fourth year here that the Lord continues to go before me and open doors.
