3 years ago today I got sat down and told my gran had passed away. No one has a slight clue how much this has broke me, they say it gets easier but it really doesnt. I know shes always will me every step I take, got her favourite ring on my finger along with my other Grans so I always have a part of them with me, all my friends used to go out after school n all that and I would just walk straight along to the hospital n sit with my wee gran, she was more than just my gran, she was my best friend, the person who used to tell me right from wrong, the person who always stuck up for me haha, me and Kayla always wanted a dog n my mum n dad wouldnt allow it, so when she died she left us money particularly for a dog n my mum n dad couldnt say no haha! We used to play Matilda and lock my granda in our special chockey for hours haha, the things they 2 done to keep us happy is unreal n Ill never forget it, scary to think my granda doesnt know his wife of over 50 years is dead due to his Alzheimers.my gran was his carer as well as his wife, one in a million she was. Noone understands how much I miss her wee face and her wee laugh, she was determined to get better and she did was able to walk and move her side again but then it happened again and there was no way she could recover. God only takes the best and thats why my beautiful gran isnt with me anymore. I hope Im making you proud. I love you gran and I always will, not a day goes by were you dont pass my mind. Ill never forget you, Megan xxx
