30% Youth and Women Reserved Tenders in Nyeri County During the State of the County Address in Nyeri the Governor retaliated his commitment to 30% Preferential Procurement and Tendering for the Youth, Women and Persons with Disability. In the Roads programme they have reserved some works for the 30% and every department is required to earmark the 30% tenders. Kindly Youth, Women and PWD in Nyeri in their groups should move fast to take advantage of the 30% preferential procurement. I believe our Governor is committed to this and wants to empower women, youth and pwds. For the Women he also announced he will spearhead a Widows Sacco and will donate Kshs. 1 million of his personal funds to the cause for empowerment... I know this is just the start but let us bid and tender and compete among ourselves as youth, women and pwds for the reserved categories... Its a good start, lets take advantage....
