The talented winger, who moved to Barcelona in 2011 from Udinese in a deal worth up to £30million, is set for a summer exit after new boss Luis Enrique deemed him surplus to requirements. Brendan Rodgers, who has just tied up a £9.75million deal for Bayer Leverkusen youngster Emre Can as well as a shock £4million move for Southampton’s Rickie Lambert, is keen to expand his attacking options and feels that Sanchez would add an extra dimension to his already-impressive forward line. And according to the TalkSport website, some fans would like to see Rodgers splash a bit of money and sign the Chilean, as he would add something different to the squad.
