30 years ago a life changing event took place basically in my backyard. I live directly behind the slopes of Timber Ridge Ski Resort (the venue) so having this show within a 5 min walk from my parents home was surreal as a teen metal head. Seeing all these bands in their prime while being so young was like a religious experience that entire day. After this show, I began to worship music and self-taught myself guitar by sitting in my room for hours on end, ignoring all my school work and anything else in life...I knew what I wanted to do!! I am so very fortunate to have had a small taste of that all these years later, still living that dream to this day. Unbelievable how time has slipped by, this day changed my life forever and pushed me to be the musician I am today. I loved every single one of these bands....still do!
