31 years ago tonight I called one of my dearest friends. I told her I was going to have my babies in the next 24 hours. She laughed at me and told me I wasnt due until Thanksgiving. Nope, I told her, I am having them in the next 24 hours. The next afternoon, as contractions got harder and closer together, I called Richard to please come home from work, and take me to the mall so I could walk. We couldnt walk outside because it was raining too hard. He stopped at the mall entrance to let me out, so I wouldnt get soaked walking from the car to the store. I opened my car door, I put my right foot on the ground and GUSH!!!! My water broke. We picked Jason up from daycare. and got a babysitter for him. That night 21 September 1983 Thomas and Daniel Crummett joined our world. Tommie was born at 9:33PM weighing in at 5 lbs 5 ozw and at 9:39 Danny joined him weighing 5 lbs 6 ozs. For preemies they were HUGE. The first photo was when they were 17 days old, Dannys eyes are open, Tommies are shut.The second photo is from their Bnai Mitzvah in in 1996. Tommie is wearing the silver talit and Danny is wearing the white one. Happy birthday you two, I love you today, tomorrow and always.
