35 NIGERIAN POLICE OFFICERS MISSING AFTER ATTACK (NPF Spokesman Ojukwu Didnt Say If Boko Haram Suspected) --Attorney Patryk Utulu Nigeria Police Force HQ has confirmed the search for 35 Police Officers missing after two attacks on police training camps in Borno state, reports AP and Globe. NPF spokesman Emmanuel Ojukwu confirmed that the men went missing after an Aug. 20 attack on a training camp, which led to a gunfight that lasted for several hours. Ojukwu did not say if NPF is involved and if the missing officers were wounded, captured or killed. Boko Haram has been targeting all symbols of the Nigerian nation (such as government buildings, security forces, government officials, citizens, etc.). NOTE: PLEASE KEEP OUR POLICE OFFICERS IN YOUR PRAYERS! These officers may still be found alive. Although it is NOT widely known outside of official circles Nigerian Mobile Police Officers and Police Special Units are often better trained, more physically fit and therefore better operationally nimble than other branches of the Nigerian Military. So, it is possible that these officers may have/still escape(d), can sustain themselves and reconnoiter back to base. Were Nigerians. We know some security personnel (including some Police) misbehaves. BUT WHATEVER your party affiliation and however your feel about the Nigerian Government DO NOT FORGET THAT OUR POLICE OFFICERS RISK (AND LOSE) THEIR LIVES EVERYDAY TO PROTECT NIGERIANS!!! SO KEEP OUR NIGERIA POLICE FORCE/OFFICERS IN YOUR PRAYERS!!! [08252014]
