365 Days, 365 Songs III. Day 24: Phaedra, Tangerine Dream Today, we honor the late Edgar Froese. The Tangerine Dream founder died Tuesday at the age of 70. I was first exposed to Tangerine Dream by George Dr. Cosmo Mahlberg on April 6, 2007. That night, the good doctor fired up all of the Tangerine Dream on his iPod, let it play on repeat, and monologued over the music for three hours. I was fortunate enough to be in the WPRB studio that night to see the magic happen, and its still one of my favorite radio moments ever.
