366) Every Person We Meet Is An Angel In Disguise, A Sacred Partner in Our Evolution of Consciousness: “The beauty of relationships is that, if we can forgive one person about one particular thing, we can forgive all people about this particular thing. Every time we forgive anyone, we forgive everyone. Sometimes we feel much closer to people outside our families than we do our own partner. This is because the person closest to us naturally brings up more of our hidden conflicts. If this same person were further away, we would not get into conflict with them either. Our conflicts help us see what, within us, needs healing. If we could go all the way to total forgiveness and love with one person, we would find ourselves living in the consciousness that we term “Heaven.” Today, take a moment to close your eyes and see your partner standing in front of you. As you look at your partner, look inside them and see the Universe laughing, smiling, and pouring love through your partner to you. Look at your partner and see total love coming to you, wanting to give all of the gifts of the Universe. Just receive this bounty, and feel how much you are loved. You are loved more than you will ever know.” - Chuck Spezzano, Ph.D., “If It Hurts It Isn’t Love” p. 396 Note….. if someone is standing right in front of you, loving you, and you’re having difficulty receiving that love, first, let go of your thoughts and expectations of how you think it should look and who you think it should be coming from. Second, spend some time with yourself, loving yourself the way that you want to be loved. When we shut the door to our heart, we shut down to receiving love. Remember, WE are the one that slammed that door shut, if we open it back up, the other person, and the love of the Universe is there waiting to love us. If we’re not feeling loved or loving, it is because WE closed the door. - rena
