4 fascinating (for me at least) thoughts struck me today. 1) The Jordanian Government claims it is trying to reduce its carbon footprint. Really? Fascinating! That explains why you take a photocopy of a passport charge 500fils for it and proceed to throw photocopy in the garbage, well done! THat is exactly how you reduce your carbon footpring. Instead of scanning it and saving it in a file you go and pull a stunt like that brilliant bit of environmental awareness. 2) I get a phone call from someone who shafted me royally in a horrid way, and they think they can work with me again. Really. I havent worked with them since 2006. And no I will not recommend anyone to work with them (yes I get asked questions like that), sometimes I am nice and give names (my prices are too high is the old chestnut they trot out time and again). 3) How people dare to speak on my behalf or even pronounce about my work, it was brought to my attention recently by someone that they were told my make-up was too theatrical... WTF? I am one of those rare make-up artists who happens to be an all-rounder. Theatre, Film, Television, Print, and what have you. Jack of ALL trades and MASTER of them all. I pioneered thenatural look here in Jordan (one of the first), Airbrush make-up, HD Mkup for film and TV, and special effects. So screw you very much to those who think I do heavy make-up, that is exactly what I do not do. 4) Rumours of my retirement have reached me, and no I have not retired, I am just more exclusive and refined in my choice of clients. My clients are nurtured and given perks, the repeat ones that is, and new clients are by referrals and word of mouth. Just saying I mean seriously people if you need any information just ask I am honest enough to tell you what is what, and I do share the work especially if I think I cannot and will not have the time to do it myself. And I am so sick and tired of people speaking on my behalf, learn this you want any information about me, my work, and my rates ask ME not anyone else....
